MoveQuotes USA (“we,” “us”) is operated by A Classic Car Sale LLC, Allenton, MI 48002. We run a free referral service that connects people who need moving or storage services with independent moving and storage companies (“participating companies”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone number, email address, move date, origin and destination ZIP codes, home size, storage and portable container needs.
- Consent record: the consent language you agreed to, the date and time, and the page where you submitted the form.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and campaign parameters (such as UTM tags).
How we use it
- To match your request with participating moving and storage companies that serve your area.
- To contact you about your request by phone, text, or email, if you consented.
- To prevent fraud and spam, keep records of consent, and improve the site.
Who we share it with
When you submit a quote request, we share your information with up to 4 participating moving and storage companies so they can contact you with quotes. Those companies pay us for the referral. Each company uses your information under its own privacy policy, and any agreement you make is between you and that company.
We may also share information with service providers who help us operate the site (such as hosting and email delivery), when required by law, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell your information for purposes unrelated to your request.
Phone calls and texts (TCPA)
If you check the consent box, you agree that MoveQuotes USA and up to 4 participating companies may call or text the number you provide, including using automated technology or prerecorded messages, about your request. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies.
Email (CAN-SPAM)
Emails we send will identify us, include our postal address, and include a working unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
How to opt out
- Texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Calls: tell the caller to place you on their internal do-not-call list.
- Email: click the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Everything from us: email [email protected] or call 810-305-3221 with the subject “Opt out,” and we will stop contacting you and tell participating companies who received your request.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain sharing. To make a request, contact us at [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Data retention & security
We keep lead and consent records as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations (consent records are typically kept for at least 5 years). We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is 100% secure.
Children
This site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
